This month we covered a lot of kms driving straight to Paris CDG airport in September from Cologne in Germany in the Audi Q7 before driving down via Dijon to Cannes on the Cote d'Azure and then back up through Lyon to Paris again enjoying the good weather and relatively quiet roads!

We were recently in Dijon in France as we thought it would make a good stop over on the way down to the south, it is easy to get to from the main E15 A6 road from Paris and makes the journey down to Cannes very easy indeed. A good choice of hotel is the Mercure Dijon which is comfortable and has secure parking under the hotel.

We have had a few of these big Q7 diesels and can say that they are such good cars especially for big journeys, they are unsurpassed for comfort and not too bad on fuel consumption at all.
